About the Chef

Bridget Hart is a professional chef specializing in personal chef services and in-home catering. In keeping with the traditional French and Italian methods of her training, she strives to create the most flavorful food possible through the use of fresh, whole ingredients, and locally and seasonally available products.

Bridget is a graduate of the Cook Street School of Fine Cooking accelerated Food & Wine Career Program in Denver, Colorado, and has over 13 years of combined experience in the fields of special event planning and execution, conference services, catering, and cooking. In addition, through study and training in Europe, she has earned a certificate in the “Discovery of the Food and Art of Life in Provence” from French Master Chef Rene Berard at the Bastide des Saveurs in La Cadiere d’Azur, France, and completed the Corso di Enogastronomia Italiana at the Italian Culinary Institute for Foreigners at the Castello di Costigliole, in Asti. Bridget has also been featured on The Food Network in an episode of Extreme BBQ with Bobby Flay, preparing her famous Aspen Buffalo Burgers at a picnic at the top of Aspen Mountain in the middle of a June snowstorm.

Volunteer work provides an opportunity to continue learning from other chefs, clients and participants, as well as providing an important outlet for giving back to the community. Spreading the word about hunger, nutrition, healthful eating, and the pure joy of good food and wine is a priority in Bridget’s life and career. Current and past volunteer participation include: Aspen Buddy Program Annual Gala, Food & Wine Magazine Classic in Aspen, Aspen Filmfest, Operation Frontline Colorado (a program of Share Our Strength), Cook Street School of Fine Cooking, and others. Suggestions for cooking or event planning based volunteer program involvement are always welcome!

My passion is sharing my belief that the enjoyment of good food, well-presented, does not have to be reserved for special occasions. Delicious healthy food does not have to be complex in preparation, and deprivation or denial should not be a part of anyone’s eating habits. I can help you to eat well, without sacrificing a healthful way of living or, most importantly, flavor and enjoyment!
